With its Castle looking down on it protectively and the cobbled pavements, it will transport you back in time.

All rooms are tastefully furnished and have en-suite bath/shower rooms, central heating, colour TV and hot drink making facilities.

The Hotel has Four-Poster and Superior rooms for that special occasion or for when you just feel like pampering yourself. We also have several Family rooms according to your needs. We are Pet friendly so why not bring the whole family along. We supply Cots and Highchairs, also Dog beds all at no extra charge.

The Hotel has an elegant restaurant serving quality cuisine prepared, wherever possible, using fresh local produce. We offer a wide range of dishes to suite all tastes and special diets can be catered for with advance notice.

The surrounding area boasts some of the most beautiful countryside in England and a variety of local attractions. These include Dunster Castle, Dunster Working Water Mill, West Somerset Railway, and Tropiquaria. There is also a Falconry and Animal farm just a few miles away. Amongst the places to visit is Doone Valley where the famous book ‘Lorna Doone’ was written.
