The house is available for weekend or midweek hire. It will be exclusive hire for you and your guests only.
The house is really a home from home. It was built in 1797 by the Fox family and contains a whole host of historical artifacts and antiques, whilst having all the benefits of modern living. There are eleven bedrooms (sleeping 21)and seven bathrooms in the main house. They are comfortably furnished with sumptuous beds and each reflects fascinating and different aspects of the history of the house. The Stables have been converted into five further double or twin rooms (sleeping 10)with a further 2 bathrooms. These are not available for separate hire. Although you are welcome to self cater, we would be delighted to provide any catering from just larder supplies or prepared meals that you heat and serve, or a fully catered and served banquet for that special occasion. We can also provide fruit baskets, picnics, bbq's and a whole range of menus. During your stay you may want us to arrange some activities for you. These can be in the grounds such as; archery, pistol shooting, falconry, massage and hot tubs, hot air ballooning, wine tastings to name a few or you can go off site to do; clay pigeon shooting, off roading, flying, country walks, treasure hunts, garden tours, horseriding etc. The games room in the house has table tennis, roulette and a pool table plus many outdoor games such as croquet, badminton and boules.
The house is ideal for all celebrations.
